Business Performance Analyst

About the role

Join Zurich's Planning & Performance team as a Business Performance Analyst, supporting Group Finance and Treasury functions. You will work from Bratislava, collaborating with colleagues across the Zurich Group to deliver accurate financial reporting and insightful performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models in Anaplan and Excel to forecast company performance.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, delivering actual close, forecast and plan submissions.
• Analyse variances between actual results and forecasts, gather data from stakeholders and develop clear narratives for business steering.
• Communicate complex financial outcomes to finance teams and senior management in a concise manner.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate finance, controlling, financial reporting or accounting.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance fundamentals and their application to strategic decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Anaplan model building.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modelling.
