Backfill IT Support Engineer – EUC/Deskside (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Backfill IT Support Engineer to join our EMEA team, focusing on End User Computing (EUC) and deskside support. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting of desktop hardware, software deployments, and ensuring smooth operation of conference‑room equipment across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laptop stock, inventory, and asset tracking in ITSM platforms.
• Perform software installations, deployments, and profile archiving.
• Coordinate with facilities for non‑network device setup and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot end‑user devices, hardware components, and infrastructure issues.
• Support regional IT operations, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Maintain conference‑room devices such as Polycom, Cisco, StarLeaf, and Teams Rooms.

Required profile

• 3–4+ years of experience in IT Service Management, EUC, or deskside support.
• Strong hands‑on desktop and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a Managed Service environment with ITIL knowledge.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• SCCM, Ivanti, Microsoft Intune
• Windows OS installation, configuration, and patching
• Remote support tools: RDP, iDRAC, iLO
• Hardware assembly/re‑seating (RAM, SSD, motherboards, keyboards, WLAN cards)
• Network troubleshooting
• Conference‑room device support: Polycom, Cisco, StarLeaf, Microsoft Teams Rooms, touch panels, cameras, IP phones
• Printer troubleshooting and file restoration
• Antivirus, patch, and endpoint update management
• IT asset management and lifecycle handling
• ITSM tools and ITIL service management processes
