Area Manager of Operations for Slovak Clinics

About the role

The Area Manager of Operations will oversee the day‑to‑day performance of 13 clinics across Central and Eastern Slovakia, ensuring high‑quality patient care while coordinating resources and priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operational performance, visit clinics regularly and implement practical solutions to local challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with clinic medical directors and senior healthcare professionals, communicating business priorities and securing agreement on actions.
• Analyze operational and financial data, set performance objectives, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditure and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Support strategic planning, coordinate improvement initiatives and ensure consistent follow‑through across clinics.
• Collaborate with Medical, Quality, Compliance, Finance, HR, Legal and external partners, using English in all communications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in General Management, Finance, Healthcare Management or related field.
• At least five years of experience managing operations or complex cross‑functional activities, preferably in healthcare or pharma.
• Proven ability to work with senior physicians and clinic leaders, influencing outcomes across professional groups.
• Strong analytical, financial and judgment skills, with resilience under pressure.
• Self‑motivated, able to organise schedule and work independently with frequent travel across the region.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency in English.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with SAP.
