AP Tax Specialist (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an AP Tax Specialist to become the primary contact for all income‑tax reports related to non‑cash benefits such as gifts, company events and travel expenses. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure tax compliance and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for tax‑related reporting on non‑cash benefits.
• Review cross‑departmental cases with potential tax implications and verify complete documentation.
• Apply flat‑rate taxation rules (§ 37b, § 40 EStG) in everyday situations.
• Provide payroll with accurate information to ensure proper taxation of benefits.
• Document and archive tax‑related processes.
• Support wage‑tax audits by preparing required documentation.
• Gradually take over invoice processing for non‑cash benefits.

Required profile

• Secondary school qualification equivalent to A‑Levels.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar tax or accounts‑payable role.
• Basic knowledge of German income‑tax law, especially concerning non‑cash benefits (advantageous).
• Willingness to work with travel‑expense data and inputs from various departments.
• Strong communication skills in German (min B2) and English (min B2).
• Reliable, independent work style combined with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• SAP or comparable ERP system.

What we offer

• Salary package starting from 1,700 EUR per month gross, adjusted for experience and skills.
