AI Enablement Software Engineer (m/f/n)

About the role

This role is about turning AI from promise into measurable impact. You'll build the configurations, tooling, and patterns that let delivery teams plug AI directly into their day‑to‑day work, and you'll lead the mentoring classes and educational sessions that spread that capability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure repositories for AI – design, build, and roll out repeatable configurations (rules, instructions, context files, tool integrations, CI hooks) across a large and diverse repository estate.
• Develop internal AI applications for software engineering – create practical tools, assistants, dashboards, and workflow integrations that help engineering teams use AI safely and effectively in daily development, testing, code review, documentation, and repository maintenance.
• Deliver end‑to‑end, production‑ready solutions that teams can adopt without rebuilding from scratch.
• Scale enablement by replacing repetitive tasks with automation, building self‑service tooling and reusable playbooks for hundreds of teams.
• Act as the internal AI advocate – stay ahead of tooling developments, evaluate new capabilities, and set standards and best practices for AI usage in engineering.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on software engineering experience (3+ years) with credibility across multiple languages, stacks, and repository setups.
• Practical experience configuring and using AI coding assistants and agentic developer tooling in real codebases.
• Solid background in Git, CI/CD, and developer‑tooling/automation.
• Ability to work independently, drive initiatives end‑to‑end, and operate across many teams simultaneously.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

What we offer

• Basic salary starting from 2500 EUR per month (gross), adjustable based on skills and experience.
• Performance bonus twice per year up to 10 % of the basic salary.
