Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will be the primary link between IMC Slovakia and its international clients, driving business growth across Slovakia and abroad. You will combine commercial acumen with technical understanding to secure new projects and nurture existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key international customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Slovakia and overseas.
• Lead commercial and technical negotiations from presentation to final quotation.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from first contact to successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, logistics, and quality teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
• Represent IMC Slovakia at trade fairs, conferences and business meetings, and report sales performance to the Sales Director.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, technical studies, business or a related field.
• Fluent English or German (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Commercial mindset combined with solid technical understanding.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Motivation to learn, grow and develop new business opportunities; graduates are welcome.
