Account Manager – German OEM (Seating Division)

About the role

Join Lear Corporation’s commercial team as an Account Manager focused on German OEM customers within the Seating division. You will be the primary contact for commercial and technical inquiries, guiding customers from initial interest through series production.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all commercial and technical customer inquiries, collaborating with the technical team to assess product suitability.
• Support new business and project activities from inquiry to series production launch.
• Manage administrative processes such as correspondence, sample coordination, drawings, data sheets, and supplier declarations.
• Implement customer‑care measures to strengthen long‑term relationships.
• Prepare quotations, conduct price negotiations, and support specialist departments with commercial aspects of complaints.
• Analyze sales and turnover reports, prepare forecasts and budget data in alignment with the Key Account Manager.
• Work within international customer‑specific portals, preparing and evaluating turnover and volume statistics.
• Resolve complex issues following established procedures and collaborate with senior management when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive sales, account management or program management.
• Experience in an international, cross‑functional business environment.
• Fluent English with strong communication, presentation and customer relationship skills.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Experience with the VW Group and German language proficiency are strong advantages.
