Account Manager – Advertising & Partnerships

About the role

The Account Manager at MEDIA/ST will be based in Slovakia and work in a hybrid setting, combining office presence with remote days. This contract position focuses on building and expanding relationships with advertising clients, corporate partners and other stakeholders, delivering tailored publishing and media solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with advertising clients and corporate partners.
• Coordinate advertising campaigns from brief to delivery, ensuring alignment with editorial calendars.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and manage contracts.
• Monitor campaign performance, generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to clients.
• Collaborate closely with editorial and marketing teams to match client objectives with content themes and promotional activities.
• Proactively prospect new business opportunities and respond to client inquiries.
• Resolve issues promptly and contribute to continuous improvement of client‑service processes.

Required profile

• Proven client relationship management and sales negotiation experience in a B2B or media environment.
• Strong project coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Slovak.
• Basic understanding of publishing, media or marketing workflows.
• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid work model.
• Prior experience in account management, advertising sales or business development is strongly preferred.
• A degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field is an advantage.
