Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating both domestic and international shipments, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments based on customer requirements and resource availability.
• Use freight exchanges and IT systems to obtain optimal freight quotes and transportation solutions.
• Assign, coordinate and track daily transportation tasks, including receiving and dispatching shipments, verifying documents and cargo, monitoring routes and delivery times, and resolving issues or complaints.
• Manage transportation activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Report on transportation activities to supervisors and stakeholders and prepare necessary documents for accounting, billing and auditing.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers, suppliers and drivers.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate domestic and international transportation.
• Experience working with freight exchanges and industry‑specific IT systems.
• Capability to manage human and material resources and resolve transport issues.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
