Thermal Engineer

About the role

The Thermal Engineer will design new products or improve existing ones to meet specific client needs while balancing quality, time and cost targets. The role works closely with marketing, procurement, planning and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design product features and size main components for new or special products.
• Analyze technical problems, evaluate obsolete parts and propose alternative solutions.
• Prepare documentation, quotations and cost calculations in cooperation with procurement, planning and suppliers.
• Participate in testing and validation of new products and resolve SFA (Special Function Application) issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering with thermo‑technical specialization or at least 3 years experience in air‑conditioning.
• Knowledge of refrigerant, hydraulic and mechanical components and of the refrigerating cycle, thermodynamics, fluid‑dynamics and thermal exchange.
• Familiarity with technical norms, technical drawings and adjustment/control of thermo‑technical machines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic knowledge of electric components.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
