Test Manager – Technology Consulting (German Projects)

About the role

As a Test Manager in Technology Consulting for German projects, you will lead testing activities for large‑scale transformation programmes in the financial services sector, working closely with PwC Germany and the Czech technology consulting team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align test strategies for testing projects.
• Steer test preparation and execution activities across multiple teams.
• Ensure excellent quality of test documentation.
• Provide consistent and transparent test progress reporting to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, Computer Science).
• 5+ years of experience as a Test Manager in scale‑transformation, system implementation or release‑driven environments.
• Knowledge of banking and insurance domains is a strong plus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager level certification or equivalent.
• Professional proficiency in German (B2‑C1) and English (C1).
• Proven experience in business development, RFP/RFQ management and leading distributed on‑shore/off‑shore testing teams.
