Technical Consultant – Robot Assisted Surgery

About the role

Join Medtronic’s global team to support the adoption and implementation of Robotic‑Assisted Surgery (RAS) systems across the region. You will work closely with surgeons, hospital staff and internal partners to ensure successful deployment, training and utilization of cutting‑edge surgical technology.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with surgeons, clinical teams and hospital stakeholders.
• Provide technical and clinical support during product demonstrations, installations, evaluations and onboarding.
• Deliver on‑site training, education and procedural support for safe and effective use of robotic surgery systems.
• Partner with sales colleagues to showcase the clinical and technical value of RAS solutions.
• Support product launches, clinical programs and participate in scientific, educational and customer‑facing events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, mechatronics, clinical engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the medical device industry, preferably in operating‑room or minimally invasive surgical environments.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex technologies to clinical and non‑clinical audiences.
• Fluent in English and Slovak, with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Experience supporting capital medical equipment, especially surgical or robotic systems.
• Technical expertise in robotic‑assisted surgery platforms.
