Strategic Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Strategic Buyer will join our expanding Slovakian logistics team to drive sourcing excellence for non‑stock materials. You will work closely with cross‑functional groups to ensure quality, availability and cost efficiency across our electromobility product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support supplier risk assessment and mitigation activities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on quality, availability and cost savings.
• Select, qualify, evaluate and develop suppliers.
• Manage RFQs, purchase orders, procurement processes and escalations.
• Procure non‑stock materials and verify invoices.
• Analyze purchasing performance, prepare regular reports and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Negotiate framework and quality agreements in coordination with Quality Management.
• Process daily purchase orders in the ERP system and improve procurement controlling and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in cost analysis and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent analytical, strategic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of responsibility, reliability and accountability.
• Excellent communication and contract management skills.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards and procurement tools.
