SQL Server Database Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The role is responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of our database infrastructure while driving automation and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain relational database environments following best practices.
• Optimize performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Design and manage backup, recovery, and high‑availability solutions such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
• Implement security controls, encryption, and auditing to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts using PowerShell, T‑SQL and other tools.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues to ensure high availability.
• Provide production support, incident response, and root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with data‑governance and audit requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a SQL Server DBA or developer in enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in T‑SQL and complex query development.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture and high‑availability features.
• Experience with on‑call rotations and production incident management.
