Solution Architect – Financial Services

About the role

Capco is seeking a Solution Architect to lead complex transformation and technology projects for banks, insurers and other financial service providers. You will translate business requirements into robust, future‑proof solution architectures and guide their implementation from design through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate solution, application, data, integration and cloud architectures for financial services clients.
• Assess existing landscapes, identify optimisation opportunities and create transformation roadmaps.
• Support technology decisions on cloud platforms, APIs, micro‑services, integration and data architectures.
• Act as a liaison between business, IT and development teams to ensure cohesive architecture delivery.
• Lead architecture workstreams, sub‑projects and technical teams based on experience level.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience designing solution architectures in banking, insurance or financial services.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
