Software Team Lead

About the role

We’re hiring a Software Team Lead who is passionate about connecting software with the real world of machines. You will solve complex technical challenges while leading and developing a team. Join our R&D team in Nitra and help shape the software behind advanced machine and embedded systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define software architecture and technical strategies for embedded and machine systems.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers.
• Drive best practices in coding, code reviews, testing and CI/CD.
• Develop and review C/C++ software for embedded systems.
• Work with RTOS, hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
• Integrate software control with machine mechanics, sensors and actuators.
• Develop control algorithms, automated sequences and state machines.
• Analyze customer requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
• Support machine commissioning, testing and customer‑specific development.
• Plan team capacity and support projects and customers worldwide.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybernetics or a related technical field.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with embedded systems.
• Knowledge of RTOS, debugging and hardware/software interfaces.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• English or German at B2 level.
• Valid B driving license.
• Willingness to travel.
