Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental businesses and seeks a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer. You will design, build, and ship scalable systems that automate core rental workflows, integrate with major platforms, and leverage AI agents to improve guest and operator experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop core platform services, APIs, and data models for reservations, pricing, payments, and property operations.
• Create event‑driven automation engines that handle tasks such as cleaning scheduling, guest communications, and owner reporting.
• Integrate with external partners (Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, etc.) and maintain robust API‑first connections.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and global performance.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery from problem definition through design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems, especially with Python and FastAPI.
• Proven ability to design scalable backend services and reliable data models.
• Comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, and delivering high‑quality code.
• Product‑mindset with curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Bias toward action, rapid shipping, and learning from real users.
