Senior Platform Engineer – Azure & Identity Automation

About the role

Join the Directory & Authentication Services team to own and evolve Swiss Re’s Azure platform that powers a security‑critical identity automation ecosystem. You will work closely with software engineers, cloud architects and identity specialists to drive automation, platform security and engineering excellence in a Tier 0 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Azure platform supporting identity governance, tenant management and privileged operations.
• Expand Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and shape future platform architecture.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes with Azure DevOps.
• Embed security throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management and compliance controls.
• Partner with software engineers to deliver secure, scalable and reliable cloud‑native solutions.
• Implement monitoring, observability and health dashboards using metrics, logs and telemetry.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, cloud‑native technologies and AI‑assisted development tools.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
