Senior Piping Engineer

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead technical discussions and manage project execution for waste‑to‑energy and related renewable projects. You will ensure designs meet contractual and technical standards while supporting the company’s mission of turning waste into valuable resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and manage tasks for project execution.
• Perform strength and stress calculations according to EN13480, ASME B31.1, B31.3 using tools such as ProBad and Rohr 2.
• Prepare and issue pipe class manuals, calculation reports, and documentation for supports/hangers.
• Collaborate with NoBo inspectors, engineering teams, and product managers throughout design, inspection, and commissioning phases.
• Deliver high‑quality documentation while adhering to HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, Waste‑to‑Energy or Renewable Energy sectors.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus.
• Strong experience preparing specifications for mechanical equipment or systems.
• Proficient in system development and optimisation, including specification creation.
• Familiarity with CAE tools.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage complex situations; international team experience is advantageous.
