Senior Payroll Specialist – EMEA

About the role

The Senior Payroll Specialist – EMEA will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned entities across the region. You will coordinate monthly payroll inputs, validate changes, and work closely with internal stakeholders and an external payroll provider to keep each pay cycle running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time, following the monthly calendar and local requirements.
• Collect, review, and input monthly payroll changes such as overtime, bonuses, allowances, and absences.
• Prepare, validate, and submit payroll input files to the external provider and follow up on queries.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and local teams to resolve payroll‑related questions, support audits, and ensure proper approvals.
• Maintain employee lifecycle data (hires, terminations, transfers) and apply payroll deductions and benefits‑in‑kind in line with legislation.
• Perform payroll checks and controls, investigate variances, and ensure issues are resolved before sign‑off.
• Support continuous improvement projects, system updates, and harmonisation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in payroll administration or processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet monthly deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in an international or multicultural environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, basic formulas).
