Senior Linux Platform & Blockchain Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux Platform and Blockchain Operations Engineer to own, operate and continuously improve our Linux‑based infrastructure that powers blockchain workloads. The role requires strong Linux fundamentals, an operational discipline, and a proactive learning mindset to thrive in a fast‑moving crypto environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and enhance Linux infrastructure supporting blockchain services across multiple environments.
• Deploy, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot blockchain nodes and related platform components.
• Ensure service availability, reliability, scalability and performance through proactive monitoring, alerting and capacity planning.
• Drive automation of deployments, routine maintenance and recurring operational tasks.
• Implement and evolve observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) to increase operational visibility.
• Collaborate with platform, security, networking and engineering teams to deliver resilient, secure services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Strong Linux fundamentals combined with operational discipline and adaptability in a blockchain/crypto context.
• A proactive learning mindset, ownership attitude and focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Linux system administration and cloud‑based Linux operations.
• Scripting/automation with Bash or Python.
• Source code management (Git) and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Networking and security basics (SSH, access controls, patching, firewalls).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) – nice‑to‑have.
• Exposure to blockchain node deployment, synchronization and monitoring – nice‑to‑have.
