Senior Java Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work on banking or telco projects. You will join a seasoned team to develop cutting‑edge Java web applications, with the option to support existing systems. The role offers the chance to influence technology direction and work on complex, greenfield initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new Java‑based web applications (greenfield projects)
• Maintain and enhance existing applications in the support department
• Design and implement back‑end services and integrations
• Optionally contribute to React front‑end development

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Java 17‑21+ and Spring Boot
• Excellent Slovak language skills and good technical English
• Passion for technology and staying up‑to‑date with development trends
