Senior Internal Auditor – Engineering, Design & Construction

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audits across engineering, design, construction, commissioning and quality management processes within large EPC projects. The role supports the company’s mission to transform waste into valuable resources by ensuring technical excellence and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of engineering, design, construction, commissioning and quality management processes within large EPC projects.
• Assess design reviews, engineering change management, interface coordination, documentation control and compliance with standards.
• Evaluate construction governance, contractor performance, quality controls, mechanical completion and commissioning readiness.
• Identify and assess technical risks such as design issues, scope gaps, rework, delays and quality failures, and ensure effective mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing engineering efficiency, cross‑functional collaboration, execution controls and risk‑management practices.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with 7–15 years of experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or site execution on large industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of plant design, construction and commissioning processes, technical documentation and quality management (ISO 9001).
• Fluent English, high integrity, independent working style and willingness to travel up to 30 %.
