Senior IFRS 17 Actuarial Analyst – Life Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IFRS 17 Actuarial Analyst to join Zurich’s global life actuarial reporting team in Bratislava. You will help drive the finance transformation and support the implementation of IFRS 17 across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the IFRS 17 methodology expert, translating actuarial requirements into practical business and system solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of actuarial development initiatives, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Drive resolution of actuarial reporting and implementation challenges across multiple Zurich entities.
• Lead collaboration with Actuarial, IT and other teams to enhance actuarial tools and reporting capabilities.
• Facilitate cross‑functional discussions, manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicting priorities.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in life actuarial, financial reporting or related functions.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 17 life methodology and its application in reporting and business processes.
• Proven ability to take ownership of deliverables and drive tasks to completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across actuarial, finance and IT teams.

Required skills

• Actuarial modelling systems: Prophet, RiskAgility, MG‑ALFA.
• Programming / data tools: Python, SQL.
