Senior Fullstack Engineer – Strong Back‑End Expertise

About the role

As the Senior Back‑End Engineer you will design and develop software solutions, mentor fellow engineers through peer coding and reviews, and lead discussions on development approaches and best practices. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technological solutions that align with the product vision and roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop back‑end software solutions deployed in cloud‑based environments at scale.
• Maintain performance, scalability, and security of applications to meet high reliability standards.
• Participate in design workshops, review sessions, and support engineering managers and product owners throughout the SDLC.
• Build and launch proof‑of‑concepts using new technologies with a prototyping approach.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure software engineering best practices are followed efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on coding experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot (including Spring Security, request interceptors, background/asynchronous jobs, custom annotations).
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), schema versioning (Flyway) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience designing APIs and cross‑service communication (REST, messaging, JSON, API management, integration patterns).
• Proficiency with CI/CD, containerisation, and deployment using Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS.
• Understanding of secure software design, static code analysis, vulnerability scanning and remediation.

What we offer

• Base salary between EUR 3,800 and EUR 6,300 per month (full‑time).
