Senior Digital Project Manager

About the role

Cat Digital, the digital and technology arm of Caterpillar Inc., is looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager in Kosice, Slovakia. You will support the Cat Converge Suite Rental Management Solution (RMS) workstream, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Integration Services, which helps Caterpillar dealers manage and run their rental business. You will act as a key coordination point between Caterpillar teams, external vendors, the Serbia-based development organization, Cat Converge Suite and Cat Rentals stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies and key deliverables across multiple teams and organizations.
• Coordinate project activities between Caterpillar stakeholders, external vendors, Product Owners and development teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and roadblocks, and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Report regularly on progress against milestones to business and technology stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and support quarterly PI Planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards and established processes.
• Work closely with U.S.-based Product Owners (Arizona and Illinois) and with Slovak engineering and Cat Digital leadership.

Required profile

• Knowledge of planning techniques and of project administration best practices.
• Ability to gather and report data and to make informed decisions.
• Preferred: experience with Agile teams in a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Scrum Master or PMO role.
• Preferred: proven experience coordinating complex digital initiatives with multiple vendors, stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
• Preferred: strong stakeholder management, communication and executive reporting skills, and experience with milestone tracking, dependency management and project governance.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or similar certification is a plus.
