Senior Authorised Civil Engineer (Ground Works)

About the role

AFRY, an engineering, design and consulting firm, is looking for an experienced authorised civil engineer in Bratislava who can lead ground works projects from first concept through to construction. The role combines technical expertise, coordination of professions and keeping the project firmly in hand.

Key responsibilities

• Design ground works for all stages of project documentation, from administrative buildings to railway stations
• Collaborate with colleagues, including architects, and review projects from start to finish
• Lead a team of drafters depending on their experience

Required profile

• University degree in civil engineering
• Authorisation as a SKSI engineer (mandatory)
• Excellent knowledge of the field, covering the complete life cycle of projects
• Ability to lead a team
• English at a level sufficient to hold constructive and technical discussions with foreign colleagues and clients; German is an advantage
• Driving licence category B
• Economic experience in the field (cost offers and cost optimisation) is an advantage

Required skills

• 3D building design and BIM (Revit) is an advantage
