Senior Auditor – Professional Practices

About the role

Join Swiss Re’s Group Internal Audit team in Bratislava as a Senior Auditor in the Professional Practices area. You will help shape audit quality across a global organization while collaborating with senior leadership to strengthen the company’s resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP), including risk assessment reviews and audit file quality checks.
• Lead methodology enhancements to ensure alignment with the International Professional Practices Framework, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Partner with the GIA Leadership Team on strategic initiatives that upgrade audit processes and methodologies.
• Develop and deliver audit practice training for consistent application worldwide.
• Manage the GIA risk and control self‑assessment process.
• Support the Chief Audit Executive and Audit Directors on high‑visibility projects.
• Drive innovation by advancing data analytics, automation, and GenAI within audit and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 7 years of experience in audit or quality assurance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an internal audit function.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strategic perspective.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
