Senior AI Engineer - Applied AI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer – Applied AI to join our Services AI team in Bratislava. In this hands‑on position you will turn machine‑learning, large‑language‑model and generative‑AI prototypes into production‑ready solutions that drive real business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and scale production‑grade ML, LLM, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, ensuring reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and cross‑functional stakeholders to transform AI prototypes into enterprise‑ready products, services and workflows.
• Build and operate AI platforms and containerised services using Python, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, evaluation and observability for AI systems.
• Provide technical leadership, enforce engineering best practices, and continuously improve security and operational excellence of AI solutions in production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying and operating ML or AI solutions in production.
• Strong software‑engineering skills in Python and experience building scalable applications, APIs or AI services.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and modern CI/CD and cloud‑native engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML system architecture, model deployment, monitoring, evaluation and lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI and Agentic AI, including prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation, orchestration frameworks and related APIs.
