SAP FI Tax Consultant – Slovakia (S/4HANA)

About the role

We are seeking a SAP FI / Tax Consultant to join an SAP S/4HANA implementation focused on Slovak tax compliance and e‑Invoicing. The role will drive the configuration, integration and testing of VAT and e‑Invoicing processes, ensuring alignment with the upcoming Slovak e‑Invoicing framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support SAP FI localisation and tax compliance for Slovakia, emphasizing e‑Invoicing and VAT.
• Configure and maintain FI GL, AP and AR processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Translate Slovak fiscal and e‑Invoicing requirements into functional specifications.
• Coordinate with technical teams on developments, interfaces and enhancements.
• Lead functional testing, issue resolution and provide support through Go‑Live and hyper‑care.
• Monitor changes in Slovak VAT and e‑Invoicing legislation and assess impact on SAP processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SAP FI, preferably with S/4HANA.
• Strong background in VAT, tax compliance and e‑Invoicing.
• Experience with Slovak localisation or tax requirements is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Good understanding of FI integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Fluent English; Slovak language skills are a strong plus.
