Road Freight Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Road Freight Specialist to join DP World’s logistics team in Slovakia. The role involves managing end‑to‑end international road freight operations, coordinating with carriers, business partners and customers to ensure timely and efficient transport.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate daily customer transport orders.
• Prepare and manage all required transport documentation.
• Receive, process and monitor customer orders throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Negotiate rates, terms of carriage and service conditions with carriers and customers.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as on‑time loading and carrier performance.
• Maintain accurate transport records in the Speed system and update contact information.

Required profile

• Degree in logistics, supply chain or a related discipline.
• Approximately three years of experience in road freight forwarding.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Slovakian and English.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
