Retail Service Specialist

About the role

The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. This role also assumes shift‑management duties when senior managers are absent. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise execution of customer‑service programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
• Ensure telephone coverage follows company policy and that online orders, transfers, and special orders are processed promptly.
• Handle retail returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately, and manage merchandise staging in the returns area.
• Verify that all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling, deposit preparation, security checks, and alarm management.
• Communicate Zipline messages, delegate Image Maker tasks, and ensure merchandising assignments are completed.
• Monitor team adherence to schedules, approve deviations, and ensure proper clock‑in/out procedures.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.
