Reporting & Tool Analyst, Underwriting & Claims (Hybrid)

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for an open-minded and motivated Reporting & Tool Analyst to join its Life & Health Underwriting & Claims community in Bratislava. The role sits in the operational and steering area of the L&H community and works closely with underwriting and claims teams supporting CE markets. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in the tools and processes used in Life & Health underwriting and claims.
• Represent the Market Unit in global system development projects and topic forums, and take part in tool testing with underwriters, claims assessors, IT and other business functions.
• Manage tools access and support internal and external clients with user-related requests.
• Drive regular recertification processes for internal and external tools.
• Own reporting for the Underwriting & Claims team, for example ad-hoc reports in Power BI and Stargate.
• Maintain and enhance communication platforms such as SharePoint.
• Suggest and implement process improvements and take ownership of initiatives that improve the status quo.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business or a similar field.
• Excellent command of English.
• Detail-oriented, able to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment; experience in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage.
• Genuine interest in IT systems and processes, proactive in developing solutions, strong communication and analytical skills, and a positive, "can-do" approach.

Required skills

• Experience creating ad-hoc reports in Power BI and/or Stargate is an advantage.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of 2,200 to 3,700 EUR per month for a full-time role, depending on requirements, scope, complexity, qualifications and experience.
