Regional Account Manager – Slovakia

About the role

The Regional Account Manager will lead business development and strategic sales for industrial rubber and PVC hoses, compact rubber sheets and expanded rubber across Slovakia. The role focuses on expanding the existing customer base and structuring market presence in close collaboration with the sales department.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a regional sales plan aligned with corporate objectives.
• Develop and consolidate a portfolio of distributors, OEMs, manufacturing, construction, machinery and agricultural customers.
• Identify and acquire new customers while strengthening existing relationships.
• Manage relationships with foreign customers and conduct negotiations in English.
• Analyse market trends, competition, pricing and new applications.
• Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with strategic accounts.
• Provide sales forecasts, annual budgets and monitor KPIs such as turnover, margins and volume.
• Collaborate with technical and production teams on custom solutions and special projects.
• Represent the company at national and international trade fairs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the rubber/plastics or industrial components sector (or comparable B2B environment).
• Proven track record in customer management and territorial sales development.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – at least B2 level.
• Willingness to travel within Italy for internal meetings and customer visits.
• Valid driver’s licence (category B).
• Higher education in a technical or economic field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of elastomer materials (NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, silicone, etc.).
• Understanding of industrial hose applications (compressed air, water, chemicals, abrasives, food industry, etc.).
• Familiarity with sector regulations (REACH, food certifications, industrial standards).
• Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets and product specifications.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
