Regional Account Manager - HVAC & Industrial Solutions

About the role

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical understanding with a strong commercial and customer‑focused mindset. You may already be working in technical sales or account management, or be a business or sales engineer looking to move into a more commercially focused, customer‑facing position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers and business partners.
• Manage and further develop an existing customer portfolio.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
• Work with OEM customers, distributors and other industrial partners.
• Understand customer applications, challenges and commercial requirements.
• Translate customer needs into suitable solutions together with SWEP’s technical experts.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain a strong presence in the market.
• Take ownership of opportunities from initial discussion through commercial development.
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering and other internal teams.
• Actively contribute to the continued development and growth of the business.

Required profile

• Experience in technical B2B sales, OEM business, account management or a related customer‑facing technical role.
• A technical background, ideally in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• An engineering degree is advantageous, but relevant technical experience is also valued.
• Experience working with OEM customers or technical products in an industrial environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing business.
• Ability to understand technical products without being a highly specialized expert.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, curious and energetic personality.
• Confidence working independently and spending time with customers in the field.
• Hands‑on mentality and willingness to work with a diverse customer base.
