Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to manage customer complaints related to our manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with production teams, customers, and department managers to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and log internal and external customer complaints in the SAP system.
• Prepare regular 4D and 8D reports and communicate status updates to the department manager.
• Actively negotiate resolutions with customers and address discrepancies.
• Work closely with production to identify root causes and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to quality issues.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field.
• Strong written and spoken English or German.
• Technical mindset with responsibility for production quality.
• Proactive and assertive approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• SAP system usage for complaint handling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes.
