Project Controlling Manager

About the role

Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to the BU Controller and local management team, providing financial insights and decision support. Lead a team of Project Controllers while also handling hands‑on controlling for selected projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Project Controllers while acting as a hands‑on Project Controller for selected projects.
• Monitor project performance, including costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks and opportunities through regular project reviews.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, audit support and corrective actions for budget deviations.
• Support continuous improvement of project controlling processes, ERP systems and commercial awareness across the organization.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in project controlling, FP&A and finance within an international, project‑driven environment, preferably industrial or construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, local taxation, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Hands‑on, resilient and proactive professional with strong analytical thinking, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
