Product Owner for Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement

About the role

Innovatrics is looking for a Product Owner to lead the development of solutions for criminal justice and law enforcement. You will bridge the gap between customer needs, engineering delivery, and the revenue team, ensuring the product meets real-world investigative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate roadmap into actionable epics, define scope and acceptance criteria with engineering and platform teams.
• Own day‑to‑day execution: backlog grooming, prioritisation, dependency tracking and blocker removal.
• Support sales and marketing with solution collateral, demo scripts, feature briefs and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate on RFPs, POCs and customer‑specific configurations, including occasional travel for conferences and workshops.
• Report regularly to the Solution Manager on delivery progress, risks and customer feedback.

Required profile

• Practical experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an IT environment with agile delivery.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear epics, user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a sense of ownership over product quality and usability.
• Willingness to learn criminal investigation workflows and travel occasionally for customer meetings.

Required skills

• Agile software delivery (backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritisation).
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs and integrations.
• Clear written and spoken English.
