Procurement Development Specialist

About the role

We are a multinational producer of high‑quality household‑appliance components seeking a Procurement Development Specialist. You will lead cross‑functional projects that shape our supplier base, control costs, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate high‑impact projects for new supplier and material development.
• Control project‑related costs and act as gatekeeper against excess stock and repair expenses.
• Run Supplier Excellence workshops and apply lean methodologies to optimise the supply chain.
• Lead multi‑functional teams to identify root causes, solve complex supply‑chain issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Identify and implement better tools, methods and procedures to increase purchasing efficiency.

Required profile

• Project‑management mindset with a strong focus on results.
• Excellent analytical skills for cost settlements and quality metrics.
• Collaborative leader able to work in multi‑functional environments.
• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a technical field.
• Intermediate English (B2) and strong communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of Project Management principles is a plus.
