Power BI Finance Analyst

About the role

As a Power BI Finance Analyst you will turn complex operational data into actionable insights for business stakeholders, while maintaining and enhancing the Power Platform ecosystem supporting finance and operations processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and data models that are performant, scalable and governed.
• Build automated workflows and business applications using Power Automate and Power Apps to reduce manual effort.
• Write and optimise DAX measures, Power Query transformations and connect to data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL and Snowflake.
• Administer production and distribution of internal financial reports, ensuring simplification and efficiency.
• Prepare, clean and analyse large datasets from ERP, operational and financial systems.
• Maintain documentation, workspace governance and row‑level security in line with data access policies.
• Troubleshoot incidents across the Power Platform and support end‑user adoption through training.
• Contribute to Centre of Excellence standards for naming, deployment pipelines and version control.

Required profile

• Business education degree or equivalent professional experience in finance, accounting or controlling.
• Strong experience with Power BI report design, modelling and data management.
• Professional communication skills, especially when interacting with senior management.
• Experience leading reporting projects and explaining variances between actuals and budget.
• Advanced English communication, both written and verbal.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work with limited supervision.
