Materials Management Employee – Supply Chain Operations

About the role

As a Materials Management Employee you will ensure timely availability of materials, coordinate supply processes and support smooth production operations at ZF’s Levice site.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate and process incoming customer orders (call‑offs) and work with OEM/Tier1 customer portals.
• Support production planning with feasibility checks and organize transport according to customer instructions.
• Create and maintain master data for sold materials in SAP and support EDI processes.
• Monitor delivery performance (OTIF), handle logistics‑related customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
• Track stock levels, optimise inventory (safety stock, consignment) and prepare reports on delivery performance, backlog and forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with logistics, production, planning and quality departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, logistics or related functions.
• Experience in project management, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, delivery and production readiness.

Required skills

• SAP (materials master data)
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
