Materials and Inventory Control Manager

About the role

As a Materials and Inventory Control Manager at Haleon, you will ensure uninterrupted production by guaranteeing that the right materials are available at the right time. You will lead material planning, inventory control, and the overall flow of materials across the site, directly influencing business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead material planning and inventory control to maintain reliable availability and optimal stock levels.
• Oversee MRP processes, improve planning parameters, data quality and inventory performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, coverage and risk, providing visibility for operational and financial decisions.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality and warehouse teams to resolve supply issues.
• Drive Lean, Continuous Improvement and HAPS initiatives to enhance material flow and reduce waste.
• Coach and develop the planning and inventory team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Support new product launches, transfers and site projects ensuring material readiness.
• Maintain compliance with EHS, GMP/GDP, quality standards and oversee logistics governance.

• Proven experience in materials planning and inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
