Marketing Service Team Lead

About the role

The Marketing Service Team Lead builds, leads and continuously develops a global team responsible for reliable, scalable and compliant delivery of operational marketing services across web, social media, email, marketing automation and SEO/GEO. The role holds full people accountability and owns the global Marketing Service function, serving global, regional and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a six‑member global team delivering web, social, email, marketing automation and SEO/GEO services.
• Own the global Marketing Service function, defining operating model, governance, processes and service levels.
• Prioritise demand, allocate capacity, resolve conflicts and ensure timely, compliant delivery.
• Manage an annual direct budget of ~€0.5 million and oversee ~€1.8 million of supported spend.
• Set and monitor KPIs on demand, capacity, turnaround time, SLA adherence, quality and cost efficiency.
• Drive transformation through standardisation, automation, data and AI to improve productivity.
• Act as the accountable service partner for Marketing Communications and Customer Interaction globally.
• Govern agencies, technology vendors and cross‑functional partners, ensuring performance and risk management.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Media or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in marketing operations or shared‑service management, preferably in a leadership role within an international environment.
• Proven people‑leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of building high‑performing service teams.
• Fluent English; German or Slovak is a plus.
