Junior Electrical Designer – HV Stations (Training Provided)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated junior electrical engineer to design control systems, protections, and auxiliary power for high‑voltage (HV) stations, renewable energy projects, and data centres. The role offers thorough training under the supervision of an experienced colleague.

Key responsibilities

• Process technical reports, perform standard calculations and analyses, and handle routine project tasks.
• Collect data and support the creation of engineering designs, preparing designs for approval by the project team leader.
• Assist senior engineers with construction permit applications, testing, drawings and related computer work.
• Collaborate in procurement activities, review supplier documentation, prepare quotation requests and evaluate proposals.
• Use standard processes and tools, report deficiencies and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy.
• Intermediate English (B1); German is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Understanding of project planning and construction interrelationships is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CAD/CAE applications such as AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE applications such as MicroStation.
