IT Security & Internal Controls Manager

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for an IT Security & Internal Controls Manager in Bratislava. The role manages assessments of internal processes and controls in the IT space to verify compliance with internal policies, procedures and best practices, and reports findings, root causes and recommendations to executive management. It also leads a CoE team and takes part in strategic projects within the function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assessments in scope, coordinate with management, guide the team, report findings and monitor corrective action plans
• Ensure audit work is thorough and follows external and internal audit standards
• Keep internal controls adequate to manage risk and compliance with policies
• Design risk-based audit procedures covering significant business and operational risks
• Support harmonization, efficiency and continuous improvement programmes, and drive automation and digitalisation initiatives
• Coach and develop a high-performing Internal Audit and Controls team
• Provide parallel support to the S/4HANA implementation

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in internal controls or audit (internal or external) focused on IT or IT risk/cyber
• Solid experience in IT audit/IT controls and knowledge of security standards (NIST, ISO); CISA certification is a benefit
• Experience with large data processing (SQL, Python, PowerBI) and coding (VBA, Python, Power Platform, API development)
• Ability to work with management at all levels and with an offshore team
• Eligible only for Slovakia; no relocation support available

Required skills

• Technical expertise in internal controls, risk/control frameworks, enterprise risk management, financial policies, U.S. GAAP/IFRS and SOX
• Knowledge of financial reporting, sourcing, supply chain, marketing, information systems, sales, shared services and customer service
• Relevant Big Four or large global corporation audit experience
• Leadership skills, including experience managing auditors to drive compliance
