IT Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on IT Operations Engineer to shape the internal technology experience for an engineering‑driven company. The role combines traditional IT support with ownership of onboarding, workstation management, identity and access, and continuous process improvement, with regular on‑site presence in Bratislava and remote support for international colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to employees both remotely and on‑site.
• Own onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot macOS workstations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access across internal systems.
• Maintain IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, inventory and logistics.
• Administer internal platforms such as Google Workspace, Atlassian tools and GitHub.
• Support identity and access management across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Identify, automate and improve internal IT processes and maintain clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity for technology and an ownership mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to suggest and implement improvements.
• Experience in IT support, systems administration, NOC or early‑stage DevOps.

Required skills

• Solid experience supporting macOS environments.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Identity and access management experience.
• Administration of Google Workspace or similar collaboration platforms.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of LDAP, VPN or other identity solutions.
• Scripting or automation experience.
