International Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

The International Customer Quality Engineer serves as the primary quality liaison for global customers, handling inquiries, complaints and quality support. The role involves analysing customer feedback, driving corrective actions and ensuring product quality across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main quality contact for international customers, preparing complaint analysis reports and presenting product quality issues.
• Investigate customer quality complaints, coordinate cross‑functional teams for root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage warranty and claim processes, including confirmation, appeal, transfer and cost control.
• Monitor market quality indicators, compile monthly and annual after‑sales quality reports and maintain an issue‑list management system.
• Support major quality issue task forces and collaborate with R&D, production, procurement and after‑sales departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience, preferably in new‑energy vehicles or power battery industries.
• Working‑level English proficiency for technical reporting and communication.
• High sense of responsibility, strong execution ability and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QC tools (7 QC tools, 8D report) for problem analysis.
• Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9000, VDA6.3 standards and core APQP tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
• Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
