IMDS Coordinator

About the role

Adient, a global leader in automotive seating with about 65,000 employees in 29 countries, is hiring an IMDS Coordinator in Trenčín. The role manages the IMDS submission process, keeps supplier data consistent and supports the SDT team. Hybrid working is offered, with up to two days per week remote, depending on the department.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the IMDS submission process runs smoothly and transfer BOMs into the IMDS system
• Follow the IMDS process and method according to legal and customer requirements
• Contact suppliers or SDT to correct data and send it to customers
• Analyse data rejection reasons and regulatory updates and feed them into future projects
• Report the actual project status and escalate RED projects
• Maintain and report all projects in the online IMDS tool
• Support SDT with supplier, BOM and IMDS issues
• Help keep engineering BOMs consistent with OEM PDM systems
• Use Adient standards and systems such as BOS, PLUS, Lean, CPP, CMP, EPIC and BEP

Required profile

• Degree or secondary education in Chemistry, Engineering or an equivalent field
• Basic knowledge of chemistry or engineering
• English at B2 level

Required skills

• Use of professional software (e-mail, internet, presentation tools)
• Knowledge of IMDS and BOM management
