Head of Diagnostics – Slovakia

About the role

The Head of Diagnostics for Slovakia will lead the country’s diagnostics business, driving growth, profitability and market share. Reporting to regional leadership, you will be accountable for financial performance, strategy execution and customer engagement across direct and indirect channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the diagnostics business strategy for Slovakia, aligning with regional and global objectives.
• Lead revenue growth, profitability and market‑share expansion while managing forecasting, budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Oversee both direct sales/service teams and indirect/distributor networks, ensuring effective channel management.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with customers, business partners and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company standards and promote ethical conduct.
• Lead, coach and develop the diagnostics organization, fostering a high‑performance culture and succession planning.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in diagnostics, medical devices, healthcare or life‑sciences with proven commercial and strategic execution record.
• Full P&L responsibility experience and strong financial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to manage direct and indirect sales models.
• Fluent in Slovak and English with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
