Head of Compliance

About the role

team.blue is seeking a hands‑on, tech‑savvy Head of Compliance to build and lead a central compliance function within group legal. You will turn a rapidly expanding regulatory landscape into actionable, self‑serve solutions for our 60+ brands across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first‑line (1LOD) advisory function embedded in group legal, enabling business delivery rather than blocking it.
• Drive practical implementation of GDPR, AI Act, Data Act, DORA, NIS2 and other data‑technology regulations across all business lines.
• Coordinate a single group‑wide Digital Services Act (DSA) standard and oversee its deployment through the Legal Hub.
• Own the broader compliance agenda, including sanctions, AML, third‑party risk management, fraud, consumer protection and business integrity.
• Run continuous compliance risk‑monitoring and assurance loops, translating regulatory change into prioritized actions.
• Partner with divisional General Counsels to co‑create compliance standards and foster a self‑serve compliance culture.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with senior manager experience and the ability to promote a compliance culture.
• Proven experience in an internal, first‑line compliance role, preferably in a multi‑jurisdictional, non‑financial environment.
• Strong track record of translating regulatory obligations into operational change.
• Tech‑savvy mindset with deep understanding of IT‑related legislation.
